Tulsi
1. Tulsi (Holy Basil) Leaves :
How it helps:
Tulsi boosts immunity and acts as a natural mosquito repellent.
How to use:
Boil 5–7 tulsi leaves in 1 cup of water and drink daily like tea.
Keep tulsi plants near windows or doors to repel mosquitoes.
2. Neem Leaves
How it helps:
Neem has antiviral and antibacterial properties and also prevents mosquito breeding.
How to use:
Boil a few neem leaves in water, cool it, and use it for bathing twice a week.
Apply neem oil mixed with coconut oil (1:1 ratio) on exposed skin to repel mosquitoes.
3. Garlic
How it helps:
Garlic’s strong smell naturally keeps mosquitoes away and also supports immunity.
How to use:
Crush 2–3 garlic cloves and boil them in water. Use this water to spray around your room or outdoor area.
Eat 1–2 cloves raw or with honey daily to strengthen immunity.
4. Papaya Leaves

While papaya leaves are commonly used to increase platelet count after dengue infection, they also boost overall immunity.
How to use:
Take 2–3 fresh papaya leaves, crush them, and extract the juice.
Drink 2 tablespoons daily (not recommended for pregnant women).

Both have mosquito-repelling properties and are excellent for home use.
How to use:
Boil lemongrass leaves in water and spray the water around your house.
Mix camphor tablets in water and keep the bowl in corners of rooms — mosquitoes avoid the smell.
